Protective intelligence is an investigative and analytical process used by protectors to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate threats to protectees.

Protective Intelligence Honors recognizes physical security professionals who have left their mark on and continue to advance the field of protection. At the Ontic Center for Protective Intelligence we’re building and educating a community of experts and practitioners who have made the shift to a proactive, always-on security mindset.

Protective Intelligence Honors celebrates groundbreaking professionals each month across two categories:

Pioneers, recognizing those who developed and/or trailblazed the application of new physical protection models, methods, or areas of protective knowledge. They are the creators of innovative protection solutions. They have driven new shifts in thinking or approaching protection.

Thought Leaders, celebrating veteran practitioners and established experts in the field of physical security. They actively contribute to and advance protective intelligence industry knowledge and careers through mentoring and membership organizations.

While tied to the Center, these honorees represent the broader physical security community outside the walls of Ontic, and recipients range from military, law enforcement and counterintelligence experts to global corporate security innovators at the forefront of protective intelligence.

The Ontic Center for Protective Intelligence is continually creating and sharing pertinent content for the physical security community to educate others on the importance of a proactive, always-on security approach. Our thought-pieces and podcasts are a must for any aspiring Pioneer or Thought Leader. Check out some of our latest thinking:

The impact of these honorees on history, how we conduct our lives today and the future cannot be overstated, and we are indebted to them for all they have done and continue to do to keep us from harm.”
