The award adds Ontic as approved Software as a Service (SaaS) provider for school districts across Texas

Ontic, the unified protective intelligence software platform digitally transforming schools’ abilities to proactively address student and school community safety and well-being, today announced they have been awarded a local government purchasing cooperative contract #607-20 for SaaS products and services. The Cooperative, also known as the BuyBoard, is administered by the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB). Ontic provides protective intelligence software, digitally transforming school districts’ abilities to proactively address student and school community safety and well-being.

The award approves Ontic as a verified vendor for school districts, counties, municipalities, special districts, junior college districts and other political subdivisions of Texas. The BuyBoard award provides a streamlined and organized approach for school districts to purchase products from verified, recommended vendors.  

Ontic’s protective intelligence software platform aggregates disparate data sources and provides a workflow that surfaces pre-incident indicators for acts of violence, mental health, and behavioral and academic issues of concern. Ontic’s real-time, actionable insights allow school resource teams to more quickly identify, assess and collaborate on potential safety and mental health issues in order to better serve students, educators and school communities.
