Secure Community Network (SCN)
Patrick serves as the Principal Deputy Director and Chief Operating Officer for the Secure Community Network (SCN). In this role, he is a senior advisor to the National Director and oversees and directs key strategic initiatives and operational components of the organization, including Intelligence Operations, Planning & Preparedness, Field Operations, and Strategic Program Development. He also serves as the principal staff liaison for the implementation of the $62 million LiveSecure partnership between SCN and The Jewish Federations of North America.
He joined SCN in 2004 as an intelligence analyst and founding staff member and has traveled to hundreds of communities throughout the U.S. and Europe to conduct security assessments, training and exercise programs, and security briefings as part of SCN’s joint outreach programs with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). He contributes in-depth knowledge of intelligence and security policy, research and analysis, international terrorism and violent extremism. He and is the author or co-author of several papers that have guided program development and policy formation for high-level government and private sector homeland security initiatives, including the DHS Homeland Security Advisory Council.
Prior to joining SCN, Pat served as a law clerk with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, where he worked with assistant district attorneys in the Felony Waiver Unit as part of a team that prosecuted felony crimes.
