Ryan is a counterintelligence and security professional with over 30 years of government and corporate experience. He is passionate about protecting large organizations from threats posed by competitors, criminal organizations, and the insider threat.
Ryan retired from the U.S. Army in 2016 after a 26 year career, the last 16 of which were as a Counterintelligence Special Agent. While in the military, he served in classified assignments with Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), US Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), and the Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM). His overseas assignments include tours in the Middle East, the Netherlands, Republic of Korea, and Germany plus multiple deployments in support of the Global War on Terrorism.
After retiring from the Army, Ryan has spent the last 6 years building corporate counterintelligence programs in the healthcare and information technology industries. He’s made it his mission in life to demonstrate the value of counterintelligence when developing holistic information security programs.Ryan holds a bachelors degree in Business Administration from American Military University and is a graduate of the DoD Joint Counterintelligence Training Academy’s Advanced Foreign Counterintelligence Curriculum.
