The Protective Intelligence Winter Podcast List
There’s something about winter that implies new beginnings with a new year ahead. It’s a time where I think about the information I am consuming and how my lifestyle has changed. With conference travel cautiously picking up, it has created the opportunity to listen more — specifically, listen to more podcasts.
In addition to the Ontic Protective Intelligence Podcast series, here are a few I’ve added to my list:
The Security Podcasts, hosted by Editors at Security Magazine
This is produced by a well-read outlet in the physical security industry, Security Magazine, where security and risk professionals join to discuss the latest issues affecting the enterprise. I was on an episode back in September discussing how organizations have changed their security measures in the wake of 9/11.
The Thriller Zone, hosted by David Temple
A Podcast for thriller lovers & features authors of Thriller Writers, Books, TV & films. He has featured several of our own podcast guests, such as Ted Bell and Eric Bishop, and expanded my knowledge of other authors in the space. I had the opportunity to be on David’s show in September to discuss my books.
The Protectors, hosted by Dr. Jason Piccolo
The Protectors brings true-life stories from Law Enforcement, Military, and First Responders; our Nation’s “Protectors” AND those that support them. It’s hosted by Dr. Jason Piccolo, an Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran (U.S. Army Infantry Captain) with service as an enlisted member in the 1990’s. Jason served over 20 years in federal law enforcement.
The Great Conversation, hosted by Ron Worman
There could not be a better title for Ron’s podcast series. It’s always a great conversation when you’re talking to Ron. His series focuses on interviewing people who are bringing ideas to life. Each conversation seeks to illuminate an idea, a practice, or a movement. I have been honored to be a featured guest this past year. Be sure to also check out this episode from Sam Queeno, the Director of Digital Identity and Physical Security for American Electric Power (AEP).
Check back in the spring for my next list, and reach out to me in the meantime if there’s a series I am missing, or if you’re interested in joining the Ontic Protective Intelligence Podcast. Whether it inspires you to protect better, or is a simple pleasure when you’re not laser-focused on keeping your principal out of harm’s way, it’s important to make time to listen.
