It doesn’t matter how badly you want something, you have to have a plan to achieve it.
Denida Grow is an International Executive Protection Specialist with over 19 years of experience working in different countries and with different cultures. During her career, she has led from different positions such as an executive protection operative (both covert and overt), a security consultant for international clientele in countries such as India, Greece, Paris, Italy, Albania and USA, an instructor for different security training academies, an investigator for law firms and financial institutions, an auditor and business administrator, as well as a project manager for different security companies.
In 2002 she founded Athena Worldwide & Athena Academy in Greece, a training and placement company dedicated to female security professionals. She wanted to create a place where females would be empowered and receive guidance as well as focus on soft skills, protective intelligence, covert protective details and conflict management, among other skills. As the goddess Athena taught in ancient Greece, Denida’s focus is to teach her students to ‘’protect through wisdom.’’ In 2008, after working many security details with HNW families and working security details for children and teenagers, she decided to create Nannyguards, a hybrid service that combines child care with protective services. She also created a security training program addressing personal assistants who work for C-suite corporate types, celebrities and HNW individuals. Denida believes that whoever is around the principal should be trained to offer services with a security mindset.
The last 5 years she has been focusing on Intelligence Analysis, OSINT and the study of Body Language and Non Verbal Communication skills. Since 2020 she serves as the managing partner for LeMareschal LLC, an International Risk Management and Logistics company based in Seattle, WA.
Denida holds an HND and a BSc in Counselling and Psychology from Teesside University and is trained in various Executive Protection methodologies by British, American and Israeli organizations. In her free time she offers voluntary work to communities and Non Profit Organizations that support education and welfare of women and children minorities.
