Dr. Reid is a professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the Dell Medical School at the University of Texas, Austin. He has authored or co-authored over 300 publications and abstracts, and 16 professional books.
His most recent book is “A Dark Night in Aurora: Inside James Holmes and the Colorado Mass Shootings.” A Dark Night in Aurora uses the 23 hours of unredacted interview transcripts never seen by the public and Reid’s research to bring the reader inside the mind of a mass murderer.
