The award adds Ontic as approved Software as a Service (SaaS) provider for school districts across Texas
Ontic, the unified protective intelligence software platform digitally transforming schools’ abilities to proactively address student and school community safety and well-being, today announced they have been awarded a local government purchasing cooperative contract #607-20 for SaaS products and services. The Cooperative, also known as the BuyBoard, is administered by the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB). The award approves Ontic as a verified vendor for school districts, counties, municipalities, special districts, junior college districts and other political subdivisions of Texas. The BuyBoard award provides a streamlined and organized approach for school districts to purchase products from verified, recommended vendors.
Ontic’s protective intelligence software platform aggregates disparate data sources and provides a workflow that surfaces pre-incident indicators for acts of violence, mental health, and behavioral and academic issues of concern. Ontic’s real-time, actionable insights allow school resource teams to more quickly identify, assess and collaborate on potential safety and mental health issues in order to better serve students, educators and school communities.
