Dr. Dean founded PHC Global to empower enterprises to manage biorisk at scale. With 24 years in public health, she has held leadership roles, including Assistant Director for the California Department of Public Health and co-chair of California’s COVID-19 Testing Task Force. She directed responses to biological threats and disease outbreaks and was recognized as Physician of the Year (2018) and Woman of the Year. A co-author of *Lessons from the COVID War* and the focus of Michael Lewis’ *The Premonition*, Dr. Dean holds a Doctor of Medicine and a Master of Public Health from Tulane University and a Bachelor of Science from Oregon State University.
