Ontic’s second annual Summit hosted security leaders from the world’s largest companies in Austin, Texas for three days of keynotes, breakout sessions, networking, live music – and of course some Texas BBQ and breakfast tacos!

Check out our video with highlights from this year’s event:

The Summit provided attendees with the opportunity to explore the latest strategies and technologies propelling the industry forward while networking with security professionals from enterprises across a variety of industries from retail, energy, technology and financial services to quick-service restaurants, logistics, media and entertainment, nonprofits and more.

Through keynotes from both Ontic’s Chief Product Officer, Manish Mehta and CEO, Luke Quanstrom, attendees heard the ways the Ontic Platform will grow and evolve across the enterprise and how Ontic will continue to create a community for security leaders seeking a forum for sharing strategies and best practices.

New York Times bestselling author and former Navy SEAL Jack Carr joined the main stage for a fireside chat with Fred Burton to share leadership lessons learned from the battlefield and how those can apply to corporate security.

There were also 15 breakout sessions, the majority of which were certified for ASIS CPE credit. It was here that leaders from companies like Dell Technologies, Salesforce, Netflix, Take-Two Interactive, Nielsen, Smithfield Foods, Secure Community Network, Anti-Defamation League, MITRE and Exact Sciences took the stage to chat about everything from the importance of uniting legal and security to how to prove the value of corporate security within an organization.

Last but not least, Ontic released its 2022 State of Protective Intelligence Report the latest study commissioned by the Ontic Center for Protective Intelligence. The report showcases the collective perspectives of over 350 security, legal and compliance executives to examine how they see physical security challenges and opportunities unfolding in 2022, and the potential impact on business continuity.
